FUJIHIRA Manami, a Specially Appointed Associate Professor (Lecturer) from the Center for Japanese Language and Culture (CJLC) of Osaka University (OU), visited Mahidol University (MU) from 13 August to 17 September to strengthen relations between MU and OU under the ASEAN Campus Project.
On 1, 4 and 15 September, she hosted sessions for exchange students from OU who major in Thai and a MU student who will study at OU under the Maple Program offered by CJLC.
She also discussed research topics with another MU student who will participate in a double degree program between MU and OU.
On 8 September, she delivered an online lecture in English on The Environment in the Modern Japanese Society. Within the lecture, she introduced OU’s globally-focused Minoh campus and its collaborative efforts with local enterprises, government, and community. A total of 52 MU members participated in the event.
Through these recent initiatives, OU successfully continues to promote collaborations with MU, even during the current pandemic.
