Professor Harald Fuess, a member of the Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies at Heidelberg University, visited the University of Osaka (UOsaka) on 24 February 2026. The two institutions have maintained a deep collaboration, and Heidelberg University has been a Global Knowledge Partner since July 2025. 

Executive Vice Presidents Mikako HAYASHI, Yoichi MIYAMOTO, and other members of UOsaka welcomed Professor Fuess to discuss future collaboration. Through this meeting, both universities discovered new ways of further strengthen their partnership.
 
It is expected that the two universities will make significant strides in addressing global challenges and shaping the future of education and research.
