Mahidol University, the University of Groningen, and Osaka University hold a Joint Symposium on Social Creation through Diversity and Gender Equality

On 4 March 2025, a joint symposium titled "Social Creation through Diversity and Gender Equality," organized by Mahidol University, the University of Groningen, and Osaka University, was held at Mahidol University with researchers and students from each university participating.

The symposium explored how diversity and gender equality can drive social innovation, foster multicultural understanding, and promote cooperation to build a sustainable and inclusive society.

Keynote speakers at the symposium included Associate Professor Thomas E. Guadamuz from Mahidol University, Professor Mónica López López from the University of Groningen, along with YAMAMOTO Beverly Anne, Executive Vice President of Osaka University, and Associate Professor CHINEN Ayumu from the Graduate School of Human Sciences at Osaka University.

Following the keynote speeches, students from the three universities delivered presentations aligned with the symposium's theme. Afterward, a lively interdisciplinary session involving the keynote speakers ensued, encouraging vibrant discussions across various fields.
